Boomer New YearHello Boomers. We made it another year and trust you are excited to start a New Year in 2009! Only seems like yesterday when I was ten in 1962 celebrating an optomistic time when anything was possible. The mood of the nation under President Kennedy was upbeat and what a fun time to be a kid! Maybe we need to think like a kid again to make bad times look good. Our website has been live for only a few months and it will take this Boomer some time to figure out all the in's and out's of this wonderful technology. I will be working close with Matt, my web-designer on new formats and how to best serve you - The Boomer - on good content. One thing we will do is to make available T shirts and hats for sale so you can "show" off your "Boomerness." Personally, I'm proud to part of a Generation that changed the world. And what better way to indicate you arfe a Boomer!!! Again, you make the site happen by sharing your thoughts and experiences, so please write. Wishing all you fellow Boomers a fun New Year and God Bless! Denny Cincinnati

Boomer ChristmasGreetings to All my fellow Boomer's. I want to wish you all a Merry Christmas and happy Holidays, however you celebrate! Growing up in Cincinnati, Christmas was a magical time filled with loving family and friends. I trust the Season was the same for you too!In the coming Year I'm working with my web-designer on adding additional features to make our Boomer site a source of good information, and a model of excellence. It appears our national economy is going to make big changes on how we will live. I pray a modern day depression or hyper-inflation will be avoided. Should make for interesting discussions. Again, best wishes to All!!! Denny Cincinnati

Rock and Roll Is Here To StayWhen I think about our Boomer music and the beginning of Rock and Roll, what an influence it all had on all of us. I like to think some of the best Rock extended in a 10 year period from the British invasion in 1964 to 1974 and beginning of punk and disco. Of course, that's when I was growing up and what fantastic memories. I will be sharing some of my thoughts and memories of those bands which were famous then, and even now.Let me know some of your memories of the music you loved to listen too, and your experiences!
